It is hard to not think of the suffering our Savior endured (for our benefit) while he was fulfilling many of the Old Testament Prophecies here on earth so many years ago.  He left his position and place in heaven, he came here as a babe, he experienced all of the same temptations we experience (yet without sinning), and then, was tried, convicted, and sentenced to die upon the cross for our transgressions, being afflicted for our sins.  But, glory be to God, he rose on the third day (proving his claims as Messiah and his acceptance from the Father) and now sits at the right hand of God!  During this last week, Easter week, we hear and see many things concerning these events.  Let us, as his disciples, learn from him, and endure our many temptations here, being humbled now, but being raised up later, glorified, sanctified, justified, forever to be with Him, Amen!

Our trip to Porto Velho is arriving quickly and we are very excited to see it’s approach!  Jr is still in the US, enjoying a vacation/ministry opportunity, and will be arriving back here in Manaus while the rest of us are in Porto Velho.  We have been busy, and want to share quickly with you some of the things that we have been working on.

We want to encourage you today, to seek our great God early, while he can be found(Pro_8:17), for today is the day of Salvation(2Co_6:2 ), for all who call upon the name of the Lord!(Rom_10:13)

Our love overflows for each of you as we contniue to assimilate into the culture and language.  Knowing your love for us, makes the times of trial here easier.
